before i rant away with suggestions, lemme just ask you, what dyou do to train for rock climbing? other than that, yes you do need to consider practicing acclimation (i don't know how in bloody hell you do that, i'm a beginning beginner too) but yeah

do more cardio and you'll be fine, or go see your doc, some people have absolutely no problem with climate changes whatsoever

i've heard extremists do this, but have you personally tried it? sounds very dangerous. make sure to check your blood pressure every now and then, though.

just like any other sport, you gotta be physically ready, you gotta exercise intensively first, push your limits then worry about the ice. try picking the paper at your doorstep in the morning with nothing underneath your robe.

don't the ice cubes stick to your balls or something? i remember he did that because he was shot in the ass or something it's all in the mind. when i was a kid, i'd always leave my jacket at home whenever we have to take the greyhound (doesn't count, i know but i was a kid) i'd just tell myself, 'ice is your friend' over and over and from that day on, i never had any trouble adjusting to cold weather

I know their team trained in new zealand and india. 16 members of the team reached Mt. Aylmer ‘s summit in record time! So after that..they were pretty much ready to go. amazing !

So much depends on the task level of the climb. Ofcors also the climber's aptitudes.
The climate conditions are essential considerations. The towerring peaks of the giant Himalayas have continued to challenge the best climbers up to this day.

Maintaining physical fitness is the major objective of a climber. Ice climbs involve high altitudes. It just follows that the more fit or physically and mentally ready you are, the faster and easier it will be for you to climb. One's skills on hill activities like running, cycling, hiking, will help your ice climbing for sure.

For strength training, try chin-ups. If you don't have a chin-up bar, find a branch, or some sort of overhang or ledge - perhaps your house has that. Some doorways have frames jutting out of the wall which you can use for chin-ups - it'll help strengthen your fingertips.
