Cranmore Ice Climbing Festival Set on Dec 7-10

The 2006 Arc'teryx Canmore Ice Climbing Festival set on Dec 7 - 10 in Centennial Park will be gathering climbing enthusiasts, luminaries, and those who are simply interested in Ice Climbing.
The Mixed Master Dry-Tooling Competition at the Vsion Climbing Gym on Dec 7 will kick-off the festival. The next day, the Outdoor Mixed Competition will be held at the CICF site while on Sunday, it would be the Speed Competition. There will also be ice climbing clinics from Dec 8 - 10.
The ice wall to be used for the competition will be 15 meters high and 16 meters in width. It will have several climbing faces with a sloped ramp for beginners and a front wall with two vertical ice routes. The festival site would be around the Stan Rogers Stage, with an Exhibitors' Tent adjacent to it.
