Veteran Mountaineer Dies While Climbing Everest

Dawa Sherpa, 40, a veteran mountaineer has fallen to his death while climbing Mount Everest. This is according to www.in.news.yahoo.com.
Dawa Sherpa has slipped and fallen into a crevasse while preparing logistics last Thursday. He was preparing his climb between the second and thirds camps, which is at an altitude of between 6,400 and 7,500 meters.
Dawa Sherpa's body was brought to Kathmandu later in the week for the last rites. He has reached the top of Mount Everest three times as part of the Everest International Expedition. He is the first death casualty this season.
