Still No News for Stefano Zafka

What happened to Italian K2 Mountain Freedom team member Stefano Zafka is still unknown as he went missing above C4 last Friday while climbing down from the summit.
There were speculations that the Italian team had helped American Don Bowie, who had injured leg, in climbing down the mountain. Bowie said, however, that it did not happen. He said that he has able to go down the mountain on his own.
Gerlinde said that she will be trying to go up C4 and check for Zafka as soon as conditions will allow. Anticipation of finding Zafka alive is fading, though.
