	Dave Turner Completes Solo Climb in Patagonia
	The American Alpine Club (AAC) grant recipient Dave Turner marked one of the biggest successes in the Patagonia climbing history. In Chilean Patagonia, Turner finished a solo first ascent on the 4,000-foot east face of Cerro Escudo in 34 days. Turner went up to the summit of the peak to make the first ascent on the east face. 	Climbers Now have Access to Skaha Bluffs
	The Climbers' Access Society of British Columbia purchased a 750-acre property, southeast of the Skaha Bluffs. This will provide a permanent public parking and access to the climbing area.
