Summer may well be in full swing but ice climbing enthusiasts still have the opportunity to improve their skills in scaling glacial and slippery walls at Hukawai Glacier Centre's Hukawai Glacier Experience and Indoor Ice Climbing Wall.

The Hukawai Glacier Centre is located at Franz Josef, West Coast, New Zealand. It offers fully instructed one and a half-hour training sessions for people of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned climbers.

The facility is also renowned for giving full glacier experience through an intense, creative, and interpretive audio-visual presentation that features interesting details about the Glacier Region including the flora and fauna, geology, glaciology, Maori mythology, and social history.
